Support for learning disabilities & autism
Every person we support is an individual with their own personality, preferences, routines and way of experiencing the world. Nowhere is that more important to understand than when supporting people with learning disabilities or autism.
Our approach is built on taking the time to truly know the person – not just their care needs, but what makes them feel safe, comfortable and engaged. We work patiently and consistently to build trust, create positive routines and provide support that promotes independence, confidence and the best possible quality of life.

What this looks like in practice
We take time to understand each individual’s unique needs, communication style, triggers and preferences, so that support always feels safe, familiar and respectful.
For many people with learning disabilities or autism, consistency is essential. We prioritise regular, familiar carers and structured routines that provide a sense of security and predictability.
Our goal is always to support people to do as much as they can for themselves – building confidence, developing skills and encouraging engagement with the wider community wherever possible.
Families know their loved ones best. We work closely alongside them and with other professionals involved in care to make sure our support is informed and genuinely effective.
