Complex Care
Complex care is specialised care for individuals with multiple or serious health conditions requiring coordinated, ongoing management. Complex care will often involve clinical interventions. Complex care includes physical disabilities, sensory disabilities, cognitive and developmental conditions, chronic health conditions, mental health conditions etc.
Our carers are fully trained in complex care procedures and follow best practice at all times, ensuring that this complex and intimate form of care is delivered safely, hygienically and with the same warmth and respect that we bring to everything we do.

What this looks like in practice
Every carer who provides complex care support has received specialist training and is competent, confident and up to date with current best practice guidelines.
We follow strict hygiene and safety protocols at every stage of the process, from preparation through to aftercare, to minimise risk and ensure the comfort of the person we’re supporting.
Complex care can involve intimate procedures and we never lose sight of that. Our carers approach it with sensitivity and professionalism, always keeping the comfort and dignity of the individual at the centre of their care.
We liaise closely with dietitians, GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure that nutritional needs are being met and that any concerns are identified and acted upon promptly.
